Why A Digital Art Conference In Sorrento?

Sorrento is the heart of tourism in Campania, a unique place where natural beauty meets culture.

From there, you see Naples like in a postcard, with Vesuvius and the gulf right behind it, the ideal setting to show a new kind of art and inspire people to do more and better.

Naples has always been a cultural hub, home to artists who shaped Italian art history.

Looking at Naples from Sorrento gives you a special point of view, where the past meets the future.

That’s where the idea for the festival comes from. We want to give Naples a new frame, one made of culture and digital art, seen from the most poetic spot possible. It’s a mix of tradition and innovation, with the Gulf as the backdrop and creativity as the common language.

Countdown is on for SODA!

The Story

The Vision Behind the Festival

Mission

SODA was created to bring the global digital art community to Southern Italy, and to open a conversation about its future.

Sorrento is the heart of the festival's identity. Between sea and cliffs, it embodies the tension of tradition and transformation in digital art.

A digital art festival connects the South of Italy with the global scene, blending local roots and innovation. Our mission is to build a community that shares ideas and cultivates new cultural perspectives. SODA is a platform for connections, fresh ideas, and creative exploration, where tradition meets the future and digital creators can grow and inspire.

Brand Story

When we started shaping SODA’s identity, we knew it had to feel like Sorrento. Not just in name, but in spirit.

We sought something that reflected the city's history and beauty. We found it in traditional Sorrentine wood intarsio, a centuries-old art of geometric pieces, creating mathematical patterns.

The brand emerged from a spark. We turned materials into pixels and craftsmanship into digital design. The result is a visual language that feels familiar yet new, blending tradition with technology. SODA is a bridge between past and future, local heritage and global creativity. Its identity is a digital echo of traditional design for a new generation.
